Your information and choices
This policy explains what Sniffies Gay handles when you create an account and use its fictional AI companions.
Effective date: October 3, 2026
Who operates the service
Sniffies Gay is operated by Yaia, an independent developer in China. For privacy questions or requests, contact snaisupport@gmail.com.
Information the app handles
- Account: email address, display name, Firebase account identifier, password credentials handled by Firebase Authentication, and account timestamps.
- Preferences and consent: an 18-or-older confirmation, acceptance timestamps for the terms and privacy policy, and onboarding completion. The app does not ask for or store your date of birth.
- Conversation content: messages you send, AI replies, conversation identifiers, companion selection, and message timestamps.
- Generated images: selected companion and preset scene, generated image files, and related records.
- Reports: the reported character or content identifier and type, selected reason, optional explanation of up to 500 characters, and report timestamp.
- Usage and technical information: daily chat and image-generation counts, service request information, and crash diagnostics Firebase Crashlytics may process to identify failures.
The Android app does not request device location or contacts permissions. This version does not include in-app advertising.
How information is used
Information is used to create and secure accounts, provide conversations and images, enforce per-account daily limits, process reports, maintain the service, diagnose crashes, and answer support or deletion requests.
AI processing and service providers
When you send a chat message, the server sends that message and recent conversation context to Google Gemini to generate a reply. For image generation, it sends the selected fictional companion and one of the app’s preset scenes. The app does not send a free-form image prompt. The server sets the Gemini Interactions API store option to false, which disables saving the interaction as Gemini conversation state. Google may separately retain API prompts and responses for abuse monitoring under its current service terms; see Google’s Gemini API abuse-monitoring information.
Firebase Authentication, Cloud Firestore, Cloud Storage, Cloud Functions, and Crashlytics are Google services used to operate the app. Firestore, Storage, and the function are configured in us-central1. Gemini processing and provider retention are governed by Google’s applicable service terms and may differ from Firebase resource locations.
Storage and retention
Your profile, conversations, messages, generated image records and files, and reports are kept while needed to operate your account. You can delete individual conversations and generated images in the app. Account deletion removes the Firebase account and associated user data; the service also attempts to remove stored image files and submitted reports. Contact support if a deletion request fails. Provider backups or security logs may remain temporarily.
Daily usage records are assigned an expiration timestamp 90 days after creation. Firestore removes them automatically only if the project’s time-to-live policy is enabled; expiration processing is not necessarily immediate.
Sharing and security
We share data with Google services as needed to provide authentication, hosting and storage, diagnostics, and Gemini AI features. We do not sell personal information or use it for third-party advertising in this version. Access rules are designed to limit private account content to its owner; no system can guarantee absolute security. Avoid including passwords, financial details, or other highly sensitive information in chats.
Adults only
The app is intended only for people aged 18 or older. It records an adult confirmation, not a date of birth. If you believe a person under 18 has created an account, contact support so the account can be reviewed.
Your choices and contact
